An established and growing financial services firm is conducting a search for an experienced Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to help scale our business for the future. This executive role will be responsible for predictive analytics, credit policy, and origination strategy to drive future profitability goals.

Location: Miami, FL

An established and growing financial services firm is conducting a search for an experienced Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to help scale our business for the future. This executive role will be responsible for predictive analytics, credit policy, and origination strategy to drive future profitability goals.

• Oversee development and implementation of origination scorecards to decision loans
• Manage the companys pricing and profitability model for new loan acquisition
• Manage the companys credit policy and identify opportunities to expand current product offerings
• Build models to forecast losses, delinquencies, and cash flows for the portfolio
• Design management reporting and trending for the portfolio
• Implement new technologies and decision science insights to reduce loss rates and fraud
• Design test and learn (A/B Testing) strategies for originations, servicing, pricing, and sales
• Aid the Accounting team with the CECL reserving for financial reporting
• Lead and develop a growing risk management function for the company

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in credit risk management, including underwriting, scoring, portfolio analytics, and collections in a FinTech or consumer finance company
• Advanced quantitative skills with experience building and validating predictive models.
• Proficiency with risk tools including, SQL, Python, SAS, and Excel
• Proven leadership ability with excellent communication, influencing, and decision-making skills.
• Masters degree in a Business, Finance or a related quantitative field with demonstrated expertise in lending (consumer, fintech, auto loans, personal lending, etc.)
• 012 years of progressive risk leadership experience in consumer credit or FinTech.
