Entry Level Printer Specialist/Sign Designer Expanding and growing full-service sign company seeking an entry level Printer Specialist/Sign Designer to assist the design team in a variety of pre-press, printer set-up and design tasks. We have three locations: Buckhead, Midtown and Downtown. The Midtown (south Buckhead) location is the production facility that serves our three current locations. The Design department is located in our production facility. Our Printer Specialists/Sign Designers set up a variety of printers, plotters and routers to produce prints, vinyl graphics and dimensional products. Other duties include reviewing artwork files, producing proofs and renditions, verifying colors and accuracy of client requested signage, marketing collateral and promotional products. Our Printer Specialists/Sign Designers work closely with management, sales team, production and installation departments to provide our clients with great products and services that will enhance their business or organization. Candidates should be familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator. Knowledge in other creative and production software is desirable. Experience with Onyx RIP software is very valuable. Knowledge in setting up printers, cutters, plotters and routers is very desirable. Current equipment consists of medium format printers, flatbed printers, CNC signs routers and vinyl plotters. Ability to set up artwork for pre-press, engraving, screen-printing, router/laser cutting is highly desirable. Experience designing for wayfinding systems, interior signs, ADA and electrical signs is extremely desirable. Our preference typically is for designers with sign experience, then candidates that have experience in pre-press, creative, label, 3-D, etc. if skill set is compatible with sign design. Periodically, we will hire candidates with minimal experience but they must have a strong aptitude in creative, organization and communication skills. We are looking for an exceptional entry level person who is eager to learn and willing to work hard. The Printer Specialist/Sign Designer position will be based out of our convenient Midtown location located near the Buford Highway. The center has easy access and free parking. Working hours are from 8am to 5pm, M-F. Flextime and part-time may be considered for the right candidate.
