Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Epic Cadence Consultant with a strong background in hospital systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Epic Cadence scheduling, workflows, and integrations within a healthcare setting. This role involves collaborating with hospital stakeholders, configuring Epic Cadence, optimizing scheduling workflows, and ensuring seamless integration with other Epic modules and third-party applications. Responsibilities: Epic Cadence Configuration & Optimization : Design, build, test, and maintain Epic Cadence module to support hospital scheduling operations. Workflow Analysis & Improvement : Assess current scheduling workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and patient access. Integration & Interoperability : Work with Epic teams to ensure smooth integration with other Epic modules (e.g., Epic Resolute, Epic Prelude) and external systems. End-User Training & Support : Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to hospital staff and schedulers. Project Management & Implementation : Assist in Epic implementation, upgrades, and go-live activities, ensuring alignment with hospital operational goals. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution : Identify and resolve system issues related to scheduling, template management, and appointment workflows. Compliance & Best Practices : Ensure adherence to HIPAA, regulatory guidelines, and Epic best practices in scheduling operations. Required Qualifications: Epic Cadence Certification is required.. 3+ years of Epic Cadence experience in a hospital system. Strong knowledge of hospital scheduling workflows nd best practices. Experience with Epic implementations, optimizations, and upgrades . bility to analyze, configure, and troubleshoot Epic Cadence applications. Experience working with hospital IT teams, providers, and scheduling staff . Knowledge of Epic Prelude, Epic Resolute, and other integrated modules is a plus. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills . Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic Community Connect or multi-hospital system implementations.
