Start your new career as a Material Associate with MAU at our client, in Seneca, SC.As a Material Associate, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials to and from production lines, storage areas, and trailers.

What We’re Looking For

• Willingness to work weekends
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year of experience in Powered Industrial Truck Operation, both sit-down and stand-up lift experience
• Active forklift certification/license - preferred
• Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems - preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced industrial environment utilizing Lean manufacturing methodologies
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with inventory software, Excel, and Word
• Excellent safety awareness with keen attention to detail and accuracy
• High sense of urgency and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 pounds, climbing onto and off lifts, walking long distances, working in varying temperatures (non-climate-controlled), and performing repetitive motions

What You’ll Do as a Material Associate

• Safely operate powered material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up lifts, tuggers, and electric jacks
• Load and unload materials manually from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves
• Supply parts to assembly and machining departments to ensure continuous production
• Maintain line inventory to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations
• Accurately and efficiently enter data into SAP and other required systems
• Support 5S and housekeeping initiatives to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow nonconforming material procedures by using appropriate deviation areas and hold tags for defective parts
• Adhere to FIFO standards for all storage areas and material flow points
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols, including proper box-cutting techniques
• Perform other duties as assigned
