Production Supervisor

Location: Dallas, TX

Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

*Bilingual is preferred*

A well-established HVAC manufacturing organization with more than 60 years of industry expertise is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor for its second shift operations. This leadership position offers the opportunity to guide a dedicated production team while driving performance, safety, and efficiency on the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all daily manufacturing activities within the assigned department.
  • Provide real-time support for challenges related to materials, line flow, parts, or engineering.
  • Ensure that production goals are consistently met or exceeded in areas such as safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators to track progress and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Enforce safety protocols, including proper PPE usage, and conduct training for new team members.
  • Collaborate with HR on personnel matters such as time-off requests, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Uphold quality standards and promote a clean, organized environment through 5S practices.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and supervisors to achieve company-wide production goals.
  • Take on additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing and assembly line setting.
  • Note: Experience must be in production; warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution-only backgrounds are not suitable.
  • Prior experience in the HVAC industry is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and dependable, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Able to manage personnel matters independently and professionally.
  • Must be fluent in English and comfortable with basic math.
  • Consistently reliable and team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
  • Willingness to work in a loud and dynamic production environment.
