Senior Traffic Engineer – Leadership Opportunity

Make your mark as a senior-level Traffic Engineer delivering complex infrastructure projects while advancing into leadership. You'll lead traffic engineering design and operations work across public and private sectors, with the support of collaborative, multidisciplinary teams. We represent exceptional and multiple firms in CA, NV, ID and TN who are seeking individuals who value technical depth, autonomy, and have an eye on long-term growth.
What you'll focus on:
Deliver traffic signal design, roadway lighting, ITS, ramp metering, signage, pavement markings, and work zone traffic control
Produce and lead traffic operations analysis and technical studies
Deliver full PS&E packages for local, regional, and state infrastructure projects
Provide design leadership on multi-modal safety, operations, and streetscape improvements
Collaborate with planners, civil engineers, clients, regulatory agencies and other agency partners
Strategies related to proposals, project scope and execution strategy
Mentorship for junior engineers and Project Managers in technical development and expanded knowledge of AEC business acumen
Strategies related to your department or regional annual and long-term business planning

Qualifications:
B.S. in Civil, Traffic, or Electrical Engineering
PE license required, TE in addition
Ten or more years of traffic engineering design and analysis experience
Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
Familiarity with Synchro, SimTraffic, AutoTURN, AGI32 or Visual
Exemplary written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary (typical range: $150,000 to $200,000, depending on location and skills inventory)
