Job Description

Harford Community College is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Payroll Associate to help ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time. In this role, you’ll support the payroll process for a variety of employee types using our ERP system. Duties include reviewing and entering payroll data, auditing timekeeping records, maintaining documentation, assisting with tax and benefit deductions, and partnering across departments to process and reconcile payroll.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Three years of payroll experience, including knowledge of payroll methods and compliance
• Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in Windows-based systems
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and customer service
• Strong time management and ability to see tasks through to completion
