Position Description :
We have a total hospice census of about 100 with 21 beds in an inpatient setting (McClure Miller Respite House MMRH) 80 in home/ SNF/ALF setting – 21 @MMRH.


CRU MUST START ASAP in THE NEXT 2 WEEKS, LICENSE ON FILE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION


Hospice RN: Call coverage rarely needed but could cover on call team. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.



Requirements :

• AHA BLS required
• A minimum of 3 years of prior community hospice experience
• Will need excellent typing skills as they have a narrative heavy EMR
• Hospice/End of Life-Complex symptom management and education
• symptom assessment and management with high level of critical thinking skills
• Comfort initiating and participating in goals of care discussions and planning with patients, family, and team
• Medication management and administration (IV, Subcutaneous, oral, sublingual, rectal, and other routes)
